Merem is a brand new ensemble that met in Rotterdam in 2021. Coming from Greece, they bring a south breeze and traditional flavors, mixed with jazz sounds and improvisations. The members of the band are a blend of the traditional/folk and jazz scene. They are performing music and songs from the past and greek traditional music arranged with jazz elements but also new compositions and original music composed by them.
